Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) Policy Guidelines and rules

Most of our doctors do not know what are EMOs rules and regulations.Most of them do not even know that even a regular MO/WMO can also apply for Emergency Medical officer.

Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued notification describing official guidelines to govern EMOs.It explains the SOPs and rules applied to EMOs in punjab.So i am sharing the Notification below.Click to expand.

Show cause notices & dealing with Administration of BHU/RHC/THQ/DHQ Many of new doctors are worried about getting a show cause notice.What is a show cause notice? It is a simple letter to you from the administration of a hospital asking you to explain your particular action.And 99% of the time it goes to cold storage after ur response.Mostly they issue such notice to threat the young doctor as you get panic after a showcause notice. Remember that If you have not received a Show cause notice then it means you are working correctly and verbal threats or orders of your superior are just baseless threats.Never respond to a verbal order if you think that it is not fair.
