Departmental Permission (NOC) For PPSC interviews.
Departmental Permission (NOC) For PPSC interviews.
If you work in a gov institute like Teaching hospital/DHQ/THQ/RHC/BHU (Pgrs do not need NOC) which is under government control like if you are doing adhoc or on gov contract then you will have to submit NOC in order to appear in the ppsc interview.(They prefer doctors who are already working in gov/semi gov setups)
That NOC must b given by secretariat and not by your local MS or CEO.If your CEO resist in marking the NOC, you can skip that step and can go straight to secretariat. They still sign it.
The procedure to obtain the NOC is that you have to download the NOC form from ppsc website (link is given in the end of this post).Fill it and get it marked from your CEO (Not MS).And then send it to primary and secondary healthcare secretariat or specialized healthcare department whoever you are working for .
It takes many days to get signed or sometimes it never comes back. Its better to take it by hand and they will sign it within couple of hours.
Once signed you must keep that NOC safe. You will have to provide it at the time of document verification before the interview.
Remember that if you mention that you are a current employee of gov of punjab in your forms and then unable to produce the NOC then they will not let you sit in the interview.
If you are working under PHFMC then its safe to get it sign in any case as they are semi gov.You will have to mark it from District manager (DM) or immediate authority.Although we do not exactly know whether it is necessary to get NOC under PHFMC or not.Better to take it if you gonna mention that you are currently working under PHFMC.
