These guys sell doctors without them knowing during MLC. How that happens? Let me explain..
When someone comes to hospital for MLC they first encounter the local dispensar working in trauma center. In simple words it is the dispensar who usually see the wound 1st hand. They are so much experienced that by looking at wound they immediately determine how serious wound is.
So if the doctor is honest then they tell the party that they will talk to the doctor for getting a strong section on the wound although wound is very simple. They say that doctor may ask huge amount.
Now when the patient enters and you start declaring section (like A2) which is totally genuine, your dispensar moves out and tell the party that he convinced the doctor to give you non bailable section for 20 thousand but do not ask doctor for money directly as he will deny it in front on others.
So in this way party thinks that they have bought the doctor. All money goes in pocket of dispensar.
There are some typical signs showing that your dispensar has already made the deal...
He will tell you that he asked around and the fight is genuine
He will insist that you do not KUO the injury
He wants to take the patient away from you while exposing the wound so that he may use his fingers to expose the skin deep wound or he may do so while "helping" you examine the wound.
He may give you hints that the party has very close relationship with CEO or DCO etc

So how to handle this?
Issue MLC as soon as possible. Dispensars try to linger it so that they may fix the rate.
If you have a genuine case of non bailable offense then after issuing mlc, inform the party in clear words that wound is genuine and tell them that if someone has asked for money then they are doing fraud with party as you already have given section on genuine basis.
Always examine wound yourself. Legally only doctor and patient should be present at time of examination.
Dispensars usually try to tell new doctors that they are part of mlc,, well it is false. dispensar is in no way part of mlc. In case of a minor patient his guardian presence is necessary, otherwise no one else should be present during mlc except doctor and victim.
