MLC general tips.

1. Attend MLC as quickly as possible. The more you wait, more they will start gathering crowd and sifarish.

2. Kick everyone out while doing MLC from your room including dispensar. Legally it should be only doctor and the victim unless its a minor or opposite sex.

3. Try not to declare sections on spot. Delay by suggesting investigations and KUO sections and fabrication. The next time patient will come, there will not be so many people with him/her. Usually parties settle things once it gets cool down.

4. Do not listen to dispensars or anyone else suggesting authenticity of the woud by saying they asked witness. Your job is to declare fabrication on medical grounds. Policing is work of police.Do not let dispensar do initial examination. He will expose the bone my fingers.

5. If someone give you a fone and there is someone asking for favor for the victim then either say "Koi masla hi nai" and after call is disconnected do as you think is genuine or You can say on fone that you are recording the call. I prefer the "no problem" lollipop as it cause less fuss.

6. Do not pass any comments while performing MLC. The only thing that count is what you are writing. No need to express what you are writing. You can say whatever you like to the victim but write what is genuine.

7. An MLC once issued cannot be changed. Not even the CJP can make you change an MLC. Do not try to change it at any cost. You will b in big trouble if you do so. Ask for written orders through proper channel to any higher authority asking you to edit the mlc.

8. Just remember do not give favor to anyone. wether they deserve it or not. If you give a single favor then it will be a blackmail point for you. Refuse any favor to anyone by saying that you consider it a great sin.

9.Once the MLC is done and issued, do tell the victim that you did this on genuine basis and do not give money to anyone asking on your name.

Just remember that issuing MLC is very big responsibility. Your slight favor or tilting can cause a poor family their whole wealth, respect and reputation. Life is very short. Die of hunger instead ruining someone's life for few thousand rupees. Allah ko kia jawab deingay.
