PPSC interviews Preparation and handy points
1.First thing will b your document verification and marks aggregate. It will b done before your interview while you wait for interview. A person will ask for each candidate and will check you original documents and put all your marks from matric to mbbs in a formula. They sometimes miscalculate or forget to add any prof mark especially Islamic studies marks. so b vigilant. Take two sets of unattesded sets of all documents along with originals and original challan form.
2. The first question will b "introduce yourself".Give short summary of where you were born, from where you did your Matric, FSC and MBBS with year of passing. End your introduction at what are you currently doing. 1st question will probably b from your current job.
3. Read basics about health care systems. (BHUs, RHC etc), communicable diseases, snake bite, dog bite, epi, MCHC from community medicine book. Also read basic management of emergency related diseases, MI, CLD, CKD, DK etc. Also know the name of health secretary, CEO, DHO, your union counsel, name Of PM, President, health Minister name.
4. Avoid commenting on YDA, politics, ambitions. Try to convince them that you are really serious in doing gov job at primary and secondary health care department. and you will go any where they will post you. No matter how remote that area will b.
5. Do not try to answer any question you do not know. This ihas very bad influence on the panel. If you do not know the answer. simply say sorry. and move on.
6.And for your own sake do not admit that you have performed Medicolegal cases. Tell them you center have separate MLO (medicolegal officer). You will never going to answer the questions regarding medicolegal properly. Avoid it.
7. Be cool. Do not panic. Sit straight. Look at the person in eyes while giving the answer. Look like a doctor. Dress proper. Be professional while answering a question. Answer what is asked. Answer in same language in which question is asked.
8.If you are a PG then convince them that you will perform duties as specialist in primary and secondary health care department.
Do not smoke before entering for your interview.It has a veri negative effect if you are reeked with cigarette smell .
Eat 5, 7 parathas with murgay shurgay in breakfast and remember me in your prayers

Official Pay details of Medical officer ,PGRs and HOs for year 2018-2019

This is the the details of allowances of a Regular Medical officer/Women medical officer BS-17 in punjab.This is pay details of Lahore General Hospital lahore for MO/WMO from year 1 to year 5 of their service.Postgraduate resident pays vary accordingly. For adhocs only pay of 1st year regular doctor applies but with deduction of only tax. This may slightly varies as in THQ,RHC and BHU as HRSA applies.Primary healthcare do not give house rent and conveyance allowances but HRSA applies.Also house rent of big cities a bit higher than peripheries.But your pay will be round about the same with couple of thousand difference.

How to get EOL (Extra Ordinary Leave) for Postgraduate training

How to get EOL (Extra Ordinary Leave) after selection as PGT if you are working as Regular MO/WMO. ▪ No need for NOC from current place of posting, just convey the message directly or through staff of your health facility to higher officials(SMO, MS, DDHO, DHO, CEO etc) that you have been selected as PGT. ▪ Join at your place of selection of PG Course. ▪ Get all your required documents for EOL (List is attached) ▪ Write an application to Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department requesting him for grant of EOL with effect from your date of joining(mention it) and get it duly forwarded from your CEO Health. ▪ Your can attach receipt of RTMC from CPSP with application untill you receive your RTMC. ▪ If you consider CEO Health office of your district efficient enough that they themselves will post your application with all documents to Secretariat then its your choice otherwise collect your application with forwarding letter from CEO Health office and attach other docume...
